Coot – Fulica atra
General: massive presence in wet areas, with reed and marsh grass, starting with the arrival of spring.
Description: (38 cm). The plumage is dark gray, almost black. On the head it has a white spot. The beak is white. It does not have interdigital membranes, but some horn lobes, however, this is not an impediment to swimming and diving in search of food.
