Synopsis
The director Jean Yves Collet, a veterinarian by training, tells the story of Aélia, a female harvest mouse, the smallest rodent in Europe. At the tip of Brittany, Aélia is captured in her reed marsh bordering the Atlantic Ocean. After joining a luxurious breeding farm designed to reproduce and protect the species, she is introduced into the heart of a grassy meadow next to a wheat field. After the harvest, she is unfortunate enough to get caught in a bale of straw and ends up in the worst place a harvest mouse can imagine: a large crop.
