Synopsis

Tofalaria is a remote place in Russia, where you can only arrive by helicopter. During winter time, frozen rivers become roads. The nearest city is 300 km away. People living here are separated from the rest of the country by the mountains in southern Siberia and are surrounded by rivers.

Tofa community is the smallest in Russia, with only 500 people. They are considered the descendants of Genghis Kahn.
